Promise?
Makan janji. Like, what is that supposed to mean?
To you, I'm like a debt collector of promises - fail to keep it and you'll see me hunt you down for your empty words.
To me, you have perfected the phrase "Promises are meant to be broken."
I can't remember the last time you kept your word. Now when you make any, I prepare myself mentally for the worst; it's become a silent agreement between myself and I. Oh I hate it when I'm right.
But that's the least of my problems.
What I'm most upset about is your insensitivity towards my feelings. I'm not saying I can be in the same frequency of your feelings all the time, but a little kindness really doesn't hurt. Or is chivalry too lame for you already?
I never asked for fair opportunity in everything because I've always regarded men to be of higher stature than women. It's always been the case for centuries, God has decreed it, so I have no reason to defy God. So when it comes to courting a woman, why can't he be a little more chivalrous? And back to my point - why must everything be fair and square for you? You don't seem to approve of me being of equal status with you yet you insist on fair game when we have problems.
I don't get it. I don't understand. Enlighten me please because unlike you, I'm trying to make Us work out.
Ah yes yes. I'm expected to understand your plight because of your hectic work schedule.
Well, since you want fair game my dear, I must ask you:
Have you ever tried to understand me?
Hmmph. That's what I thought.
Looks like giving you face isn't working either...
How now brown cow?
